Leslie S. Bari

Leslie also is the Executive Vice President of The Constitutional Walking Tour of Philadelphia, one of Philadelphia’s Top 25 Tourist Attractions, as ranked by the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Previously, Leslie worked in Financial Services and Travel marketing for 8 years with American Express in New York. Leslie was a Director of Account Development for the Lodging Industry where she managed the American Express relationship with Hilton Hotels, which generated billions of dollars in annual in charge volume.

Prior to that, Leslie oversaw various luxury travel, retail, entertainment and lifestyle programs for the Platinum Card and Centurion [Black] Card, including: 1) the “By Invitation Only” experiential special events program, which included “once-in-a-lifetime” events such as the Super Bowl, Sundance Film Festival, Aspen Food & Wine Festival, Wimbledon with Stan Smith, the American Express suite at the U.S. Open, and more, 2) the Concierge program and 3) retail partnerships with Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Sony, among others. Leslie managed multiple vendors and implemented various service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction, and also implemented changes to improve the financial results of the “By Invitation Only” program, resulting in a 90.0% improvement in profitability. At American Express, Leslie also managed the Delta SkyMiles Credit Card portfolio, executing loyalty marketing campaigns to increase card usage. Certain programs resulted in a sustained, year-over-year growth in Cardmember spending of more than 40.0%. While at American Express, Leslie received the prestigious Champions Award, the Chairman’s Award for Quality and received her Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification in quality management.

Prior to American Express, Leslie worked in marketing at Mattel in Los Angeles where she developed marketing initiatives for the launch of a new toy, and prior to Mattel, Leslie worked in public relations for Elkman Advertising and Public Relations in Philadelphia, where she developed comprehensive PR programs for clients ranging from K’NEX, the Philadelphia International Auto Show and Penn Maid Foods.

Leslie served on the Board of Directors of the Friends of Rittenhouse Square, and is also on the Auction Committee for the Legacy Youth Tennis & Education Annual Benefit.
